5 Hidden Organizers to Tame Kitchen Chaos | Easy & Affordable Solutions

Two words: Kitchen. Chaos.

There are many reasons why one might experience it but no matter the reason, a messy & disorganized kitchen is stressful. I had a little bit of it when I first moved into our new home last year. If you’ve ever moved, I’m sure you can empathize!

It’s that phase where your boxes are labeled so it’s not that you don’t know where things are. But you’re not quite sure how to configure your new kitchen or what makes sense from a day-to-day perspective. You might ask yourself: is Item A best placed here or here? Do I need an organizer or system to corral this? In the weeks following your move, you might even change your mind (a few times).

For me, I was blessed with the most amount of kitchen cabinet, drawer, and countertop space I ever had so I was excited to get into it and implement systems that would not only look nice, but would make it easy to find things, easy for my husband & guests to find them, and was intuitive. You gotta have a good “flow” in your kitchen. I’m sure you ladies who spend a lot of time in the kitchen know exactly what I mean.

Today, I’m sharing 5 “hidden” organizers that serve as an antidote to the affliction known as “kitchen chaos”: all simple, affordable, & easy to integrate into whatever setup you currently have. Let’s get into it!

It’s bamboo. It’s beautiful. And, my favorite: it’s expandable! Such an upgrade from my previous dollar store utensil holder. It has way more slots & it has little plastic feet to stop it from shifting in the drawer. Be sure to measure the inside of your drawer before purchasing!

Okay, THIS I was very excited about! These are separate bag storage containers that come as a set & are already pre-labeled for you: Gallon, Sandwich, Quart, and Snack. You arrange them how you need to in your drawer. Easy to load and because the openings are wide, you can easily see when you’re running low and replenish accordingly. I never run out now!

This wrap organizer for your foil, plastic, and parchment wrap matches the previous two organizers quite nicely. It comes with adhesive labels so you know what product is there.  Also nifty: it comes with adhesive cutters that slide from left to right for an even cut, allowing your product to go further and minimize waste.

I LOVE this pullout rolling cabinet organizer! Again: short girl here at 5’2″. Now, I don’t need a stool or to go on my tippy toes to get to my spices in the back: I can just pull it out to me and voila! Easy access & viewing of all my items. You can use it for spices, bottles, jars, etc. Could be a handy thing to have in an overhead cabinet in a laundry room, too!

They come in multiple finishes, sizes, and some are even multi-tiered! I installed it in just a few minutes by myself (you will need to screw it in. It slides easily–haven’t had any problems yet and ladies I’ve had over always ask me where I got it.

And last but not least: this rolling cart organizer is nice & narrow and will fit into the gap between your fridge and counter, fridge and wall, or even in a large enough pantry closet. It can old various pantry items and spices as well and will offer you more space than just the organizer above but hey! Some of you may have a use for both.

Hope you found this helpful.
