I have been using this combination of daily vitamins for some time & really enjoy the benefits of them: clear skin, strong nails (especially after getting acrylics, so important to restore your natural nail), noticeably faster growing, hair, etc. And most are pretty yummy, too! I recommend these because I personally feel an overall health boost & notice some positive effects and I hope you will too if you try them. I am not sponsored by any of these brands and all of the opinions given are purely my own.
Disclaimer: I want to state for the record that I am not a doctor or nutritionist & you should always:
- do your own research (I provided some links below but I still encourage this, always)
- read all the labels/ingredient lists
- consider any known allergies or sensitivities
- consult your doctor when consuming any medications, vitamins/supplements, etc.
Okay, we’re done with disclaimers, I promise. 👼
The above graphic is just a high level look at the benefits of these core vitamins/supplements I’m recommending but there are many more for each of them. Here are a few more I have consistently found in my research & some resource links for your information.
- Magnesium – many people are deficient in this. It’s said to improve mood, sleep, reduce feelings of anxiety, helping with migraines, and lowering BMI.
- Vitamin C & Zinc – immune system supporters, reduces risk of high blood pressure, some chronic diseases, and even help protect memory as you age.
- Biotin (Vitamin B7)- Love the strawberry flavor of my Hair, Skin, & Nails gummy. When I consistently take it, I definitely see a difference in my nails (they grow faster and harder), helping my grow my hair out, and I have found my skin texture has improved since returning to it after a period of time.
- Prenatal (Folic Acid)– highly recommended for ladies who are currently pregnant or trying to become mommies (hello iron!).
- Vitamin D – good for your immune system, bones, muscles, and can even help to combat depression.
Finally, I do want to say that I align very much with Hippocrates‘ sentiment of “let food by they medicine.” Eating whole, nutrient-dense, and natural foods (“eat the rainbow” as my mother always said) is the best way to live your healthiest life, coupled with regular physical activity, and good hydration habits. What you consume helps to make new cells in your body so there is something to that saying “you are what you eat!”
Vitamins & supplements can help to combat deficiencies & fill in the gaps of what your body is craving (e.g. more iron), serve as a preventative measure for many chronic diseases, and help provide nutrients that your body doesn’t produce much of on its own. For example, did you know that your body will start producing Vitamin D when you’re exposed to ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun directly on your skin?
That’s crazy! So, if you live in a really cloudy, rainy place or a place with lots of pollution, you’re likely not getting your daily recommended dose of Vitamin D. According to this article, 40% of American adults may Vitamin D deficient and individuals with dark skin tones, because of the higher levels of melanin in their bodies, makes it harder for them to naturally produce vitamin D. Just some things to be aware of & to help inform your decisions when selecting the best vitamins for you.
